The traditional dying materials: their
characteristics, history and procurement.
Tools and materials necessary for dying.
Testing deyesderived from vegetable and animal sources on various
fibres, in order to find similar colour nuances. Identification of
deystuffs used in historical textiles.
The course is aimed at students, weavers, restorers and those involved
in the production and trade sector.
There are reductions for those who enrol for more than one seminar.
